Jordan Trainer Essential 888122-016 Release Dates,Among the thirty-one primary Air Jordan models that exist, and the numerous others, the Air Jordan 8 holds a very special place. It was originally introduced during the 1992–93 NBA season, the same season in which the “Three Peat Championship” took place. While laced up in the Air Jordan 8, Michael Jordan vanquished the Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers, New York Knicks and the Phoenix Suns. Prior to his retirement, Michael Jordan reached the apex of his career while wearing the Air Jordan 8. Rather unexpectedly, Jordan Brand seem to have decided to introduce an Air Jordan 8-inspired training model, which is being referred to as the Jordan Trainer Essential.
Even though the legacy of the original Air Jordan footwear has managed to live on, Jordan Brand still feels the need to introduce new retro colorways and alternate silhouettes like the one featured here. In fact, the Jordan Trainer Essential is an amalgamation of the past and future. Elements of this training model like the upper graffiti-like graphics and its straps definitely appears to have been borrowed from the Air Jordan 8, but the silhouette appears to have been upgraded to be worn during training, such as at the gym. It is also dressed up in Chicago Bulls-inspired Black, Red and White color scheme.
As mentioned, Michael Jordan had been wearing the Air Jordan 8 when he led the Chicago Bulls to win the NBA championship for the third time. By then, Michael Jordan had also managed to score a total of 20,000 points throughout his career. Of course, like every Air Jordan model that Jordan Brand has ever introduced, the Air Jordan 8 was quite innovative as well. Since it was designed by Tinker Hatfield, it is also as well-crafted as all other silhouettes that he has designed, and he designed the Air Jordan 8 to provide the utmost performance boost to athletes. Perhaps the Jordan Trainer Essential will do the same.
For sneakerheads who prefer lacing up in and rocking Air Jordan training shoes, this brand new one will definitely be worth copping, even more if they are fans of the Air Jordan 8. However, they may have to wait a while longer until the Jordan Trainer Essential arrives at select Jordan retailers
Air Jordan 8 “Alternate” Release Date,Back in 2016, the Air Jordan 8 was a part of two different packs. Even before it was officially announced, sneakerheads already knew that last year’s annual Championship Pack would consist of the Air Jordan 8, much like how this year’s pack will include the Air Jordan 9. The pack contained the “Champagne” and “Confetti” colorways of the Air Jordan 8. The Air Jordan 8 was also included in 2016’s Kobe Pack, which included an iteration that was dressed up in the colors of the Los Angeles Lakers. While the Air Jordan 8 already joined the recent Jordan releases 2017, now its “Alternate” colorway is arriving too.

By now, a lot of sneakerheads probably own a pair of the Air Jordan 8 “Take Flight.” The sneaker recently made its retail debut on January 28th, on the same day that Jordan Brand dropped a number of other sneakers, including the entire Chinese New Year Collection. Also known as the “Sequoia” colorway, it got its secondary nickname from the Sequoia Green hue that covers the sneaker almost entirely. Of course, it was not a completely tonal iteration, so it also featured Black-colored accents and Max Orange appeared over its branding and outsoles. Less than a month later, another Air Jordan 8 is on its way.
The 2017 66th All-Star Game came to its conclusion, where the Eastern Conference defeated the Western Conference with a score of 192-182. Yet, next week is scheduled to mark the retail debut of two sneakers that revolve around the All-Star theme. The first is the Air Jordan 12 Low “Playoff” and the second is the Air Jordan 8 “Alternate” featured here. It is visibly inspired by the Chicago Bulls, with a predominantly clean White-colored base with Black- and Red-colored accents here and there, including some abstract patterns. The concept behind this sneaker is that it is literally an alternate colorway that Michael Jordan could have rocked back in the days.
The sneaker featured here also happens to be the second “Alternate” Jordan releases 2017, the other one being that of the Air Jordan 6, which is scheduled to arrive on March 11th, 2017. As for this Air Jordan 8 “Alternate,” sneakerheads will be able to cop a pair for $190 on February 25th.
Air Jordan 31 Fine Print Sneaker Release Date. Before Michael Jordan had signed with Nike, he actually used to dream of rocking adidas sneakers on the court upon becoming a part of the NBA. Back when he playing for the North Carolina Tar Heels, he used to wear Converse sneakers, much like the rest of his teammates. Unfortunately for adidas, it had been a bad time for the brand back then following the death of Adi Dassler, the company’s founder, and so the Three Stripes never made an offer. That is how Michael Jordan during his rookie years, ultimately ended up signing a contract with Nike and this latest Air Jordan 31 draws inspiration from it.

Release Date: September 17th,2016
The photos seen accompanying this post had been shared by Instagram user @jiayfreddy131. This brand new colorway of the Air Jordan 31 has been dubbed “Fine Print” and it is probably obvious what fine print it is referring to, namely the contract that Michael Jordan had signed with Nike. Even the Black and White color scheme of this sneaker is a reference to the contact. The areas of this sneaker are referring to the contract’s white-colored paper and the Black accents and detailing are all referring to the black-colored ink on the contract. At the same time, Wolf Grey also makes an appearance here and there for the sake of contrast.
With the recent release of the Air Jordan 31 “Banned,” sneakerheads are probably assuming that this new colorway may not arrive until later this year. On the contrary, it is being reported that this sneaker will be among September 2016’s Jordan releases. In fact, it will apparently retail at a price of $185 on September 17th.
Michael Jordan had actually been very disappointed when adidas had not made him a definite offer. Despite that he had even showed up at Converse headquarters, it was ultimately Nike that moved in and swept the rookie who would end up becoming the G.O.A.T. Nike clearly saw Michael Jordan’s potential and what he could end up accomplishing in the future. At the time when Nike had been in talks with Michael Jordan, he was shown the iconic Black and Red colorway of the Air Jordan 1, which has ever since been dubbed the “Bred” iteration. The latest Air Jordan 31 has been inspired by all of this.
