Air Jordan 13 And An Air Jordan 14 2017’s Defining

Air Jordan 13 And An Air Jordan 14 2017’s Defining,Michael Jordan officially concluded his professional basketball career in 2005. It was also the year in which the Air Jordan 6 and the Air Jordan 11 were probably two of Jordan Brand’s most popular models. That very year, rumors also began spreading that Jordan Brand was planning to drop the two models together as a part of a package. Apparently, this year’s Defining Moments Package is a tribute to Michael Jordan’s 1998 NBA Finals championship victory. That would explain the “1998” featured on the box in large, Gold-colored font. It is being rumored that this year’s Defining Moments Package will be joining June’s Jordan releases 2017.

This seemed unbelievable since neither of the two models had arrived at retailers in over half a decade back then. Yet, the Defining Moments Package was eventually introduced. Based on leaked photos, it seems that this year’s Air Jordan Defining Moments Package will include the Air Jordan 13 and 14.Jordan Brand decided to release the Defining Moments Package as an essential and relevant homage to Michael Jordan. At that time though, sneakerheads could just not grasp the idea of two sneakers arriving in a single package. They were uncertain about things like whether they would be able to purchase just one, whether they would both be contained in a single or separate boxes, and so on. Of course, 2006’s Defining Moments Package was literally a single package containing two sneakers and so they ultimately had to make room to house it in their closets.

The package retailed at a price of $295 on January 28th, 2006.Photos that provide glimpses of the two sneakers from 2017’s Defining Moments Package were shared on Instagram by @znseakerheadz. The Air Jordan 14 is only partially visible, with seemingly all-Black uppers and Metallic Gold-colored accents, but far more detailed photos of the Air Jordan 13 have popped up ever since. In contrast to the Air Jordan 14, the Air Jordan 13 has plain White-colored uppers, with Metallic Gold-colored overlays and Varsity Red appearing over branding, namely the “Jumpman” logo on each tongue. The quote “They can’t win until we quit” has also been divided between the left and right shoe, printed on the inside of their tongues.

The 1997–1998 season was the last one that Michael Jordan played as a part of the Bulls, and that was when Jordan Brand released Jordan 13. Jordan 13 featured a mastermind design, the credit for which goes to Tinker Hatfield. A considerable number of Jordan shoe fans consider the Air Jordan 13 as the best design model by Jordan Brand.

For the first and only time, a hologram was featured on Jordan 13 to mimic a Panther’s eye. Tinker Hatfield got inspired from the paws of a Panther to design the outsole, since Michael Jordan himself was frequently referred to as “Black Cat” by his fellow NBA players. In fact, the inspiration for the rest of the pair’s design also came from the Black Panther, which is why the shoes were so lightweight and responsive. A carbon-fiber spring plate and a sleek Zoom Air was also featured by the pair.

All the previous Jordan shoes had been made in Taiwan, but Jordan 12 was the very first made-in-China pair, and consequently, many copies of the pair began to appear. Some very ugly colorways of fake Air Jordan 13s began to spread. Nonetheless, Jordan Brand did not stop there and released 2 Retro colorways of the Jordan 13, including the Black/Red colorway on December 22nd.

Although there is no news of about any new Jordan 13 releases for 2014, but a player exclusive Dwyane Wade PEs colorway was unveiled around 3 months ago.

This Air Jordan 13 Low features a Black, University Red, Metallic Gold and White color scheme. Featuring a full Black tumbled leather upper with University Red interior, and outsole. Other details include a Metallic Gold Jumpman logo on the upper ankle and lace tips all while sitting atop a White midsole and Red outsole.

The Air Jordan 11 isn’t the only model releasing in a low-top ‘Bred’ colorway this year.

Below is a look at the ‘Bred’ 13 Low, a scaled down version of the original ‘Playoff’ colorway with a red inner lining and outsole. The shoe is part of a 2015 lineup that will reportedly include the original ‘Navy’ and ‘Chutney’ colorways, as well as an all-new Charlotte Hornets-inspired make-up.

Don’t let the name fool you – the Midnight Navy isn’t completely covered in this particular color. In fact, there’s more white than navy in the design – but it’s hard to miss the navy shade that beautifully underscores the silhouette. Suffice it to say, the clean white design puts more emphasis on the navy hue.

This release is also available in kid’s sizing so if you’re looking for a gift for a basketball-loving kid, this is definitely an excellent option. Jordan release date for these shoes, according to Sneaker News, is early 2015.

The Air Jordan 13 Retro Low Midnight Navy is definitely one of those colorways that caught the eye of the public. An excellent silhouette reinvented with clean and classic colors, it’s easy to see why the Midnight Navy sold an impressive number all over the world.

All in all, the, Air Jordan 13 Retro Low “Midnight Navy” colorway makes for an excellent addition to the current Air Jordan 13 line. Nike chose to go classic for this one, dispensing of the loud colors and just opting for something clean and easy with a simply yet distinctive pattern. The only loud color is the green shade at the bottom which doesn’t really say much.

The trim and sides are mainly done in white with distinctive dimpling that adds texture to the overall design. A strip of navy blue can be seen running along the sides, right on top of the sole which is also navy blue, albeit a different shade and texture than the leather upper. There’s a way pattern that separates the top sole from the midsole, the midsole beautifully colored in clean white. The edging of the soles resembles a blue-green color that spans only a few centimeters in width. Thanks to the stark contrast of white however, it’s easy to spot the subtle
colors used by Nike to make this model stand out.

The heel portion is another matter, however. Instead of the usual stitching along the back heel, there’s this small Jump Man logo done in the color black. From the pictures, it’s tough to tell whether the logo is made from leather or metal – but it’s definitely settled on top of the shoe fabric rather than embossed in the leather. The laces follow the same Midnight Navy pattern and unlike other Nike shoes, they’re circular in design rather than flat.
