Jordan Brand and Social Status teamed up for the launch of this pack via a pop-up installation that they set up in Miami Beach. This pack was inspired by and designed for the special Art Basel 2017 event that recently took place between December 7th and 10th, 2017 in Miami Beach. However, the Air Jordan 1 “Art Basel” Pack did not end up retailing at the intended pop-up location due to unforeseen circumstances.
In case sneakerheads have not realized it yet, the “Igloo” and “Rust Pink” colorways from this Air Jordan 1 “Art Basel” Pack drew inspiration from all the art deco buildings in Miami Beach district. After all, Miami Beach has an entire Art Deco Historic District. Hence, both of these sneakers were dressed up 80s, art deco inspired pastel colors, specifically Blue and Pink. Since the Air Jordan 1 “Art Basel” Pack was supposed to retail exclusively at a secret pop-up store, the sneakers were produced in limited quantities in men’s sizes 8 to 14. They were supposed to retail at a price of $160 each.
The Air Jordan 1 “Art Basel” Pack was scheduled to make its exclusive retail debut on December 8, between 12 PM and 7 PM EST. Social Status revealed the exact location of the pop-up installation via their official Instagram account. It was revealed to be at the The Mondrian Hotel on 1100 West Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida. Unfortunately, sneakerheads stormed at the location as soon as it was revealed and the pop-up installation at 1100 West Avenue ended up getting shut down by the police. Quite unexpectedly, the retail location for the Air Jordan 1 “Art Basel” Pack was relocated to 888 MacArthur Causeway, that too on a yacht.
Air Jordan 1 GG/GS “Valentine’s Day” Release Date,Valentine’s Day is nearing and many lovers are probably planning to buy flowers for their significant others, in which case they may want to order the flowers soon. As February 14th approaches, flowers are only to cost far more than their current prices. Up until December 2016, the overall prices of flowers ranged between $32 and $50. However, with just a week or so until February begins, it would not be surprising if the prices peak, which is bound to happen. Of course, sneakerheads could also give their sneakerhead significant others a sneaker like the Air Jordan 1 that Jordan Brand has specifically designed for Valentine’s Day.
Sneakerheads have probably been wondering why Jordan Brand has been whipping up so many Air Jordan 1 colorways that feature Pink-colored accents and detailing. The one seen here is actually the third one to have emerged as of lately. The first one that sneakerheads got a look at was Selena Williams’ Air Jordan 1 PE that will actually making its debut next month, just a few days before Valentine’s Day on February 11th. The second one is the recently revealed “Black/Vivid Pink” iteration of the model that could be among February’s Jordan releases 2017, although a release date has not been confirmed yet.
As for the one featured here, it is being referred to as the “Valentine’s Day” rendition and it happens to be a GG-/GS-sized release. For sneakerheads who feel that the this Air Jordan 1 GG/GS “Valentine’s Day” looks familiar, this is because the color blocking it uses is the samea s that of the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe.” It has the same basic Black and White color scheme, with the only exception that the Red at the rear of the sneaker has been replaced with Hyper Pink. Moreover, instead of the “Jumpman” logo on the heels, they feature some kind of heart-shaped basketball branding.
For all those whose significant others happen to be avid sneakerheads as well, this sneaker would make an ideal gift that they would greatly appreciate receiving. Alongside the Air Jordan 1 “Selena Williams” PE, this Air Jordan 1 GG/GS “Valentine’s Day” is also reported scheduled to arrive at retailers on February 11th.
Air Jordan 1 High OG “Storm Blue” Release Date,Most sneakerheads may have probably assumed that the final Air Jordan 1 OG colorway to arrive at retailers in 2016 was the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Bred,” but that is apparently not the case. @zsneakerheadz was the one who had shared this photo on Instagram and even a potential release date has been reported. Sneakerheads may not remember, Air Jordan 1 High “Storm Blue” happens to be one of the model’s original colorways. Since it is an OG rendition, it is also returning in OG form, which means that its tongues feature the “Nike Branding” that can indeed be spotted.
There has been no confirmation from Jordan Brand, but reports suggest that it will arrive at retailers around Christmas. So far, it is being alluded to that the release date of the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Storm Blue” will be December 23rd and it may end up retailing at a price of $160.While the summer is gradually nearing its end, this season happens to be a particularly notable time for Blue-colored Air Jordan sneakers. It had all started with the Air Jordan 6 “Sport Blue” and had not taken long for some Jordan Brand’s most coveted models like the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 4 to get dressed up in a Blue-themed color scheme. From the very beginning, even amongst the original Air Jordan 1 colorways, there had been the “Royal Blue” iteration. One model that is perhaps recognized for always featuring patent leather as a signature detail is undoubtedly the Air Jordan 11. There is no denying that patent leather tends to add a glossy shine to a sneaker. Patent leather is actually standard, regular leather with a high gloss finish coating, which is the reason it glimmers and glistens so remarkably. In the recent times, Jordan Brand specifically brought back the “Nike Air” branding on many of its returning OG sneaker colorways, but it is the opposite here. The entire uppers of this Air Jordan 1 are made up of glossy Black- and Grove Green-colored patent leather. Adding some further contrast, the midsoles are covered in White and each of its tongues sports the Jumpman “AIR” logo instead of “Nike Air.” This is the first time that the Air Jordan 1 has been dressed up in patent leather to this extent and it has the potential of becoming a trend. So far, it is being reported that this “Glove Green” iteration could be among Fall 2016’s Jordan releases.

The prominent feature of each Phat colorway was the color of midsole and the stitched lining that ran around the lower part of upper in each pair. The shoe had a low-top design with the Nike’s Swoosh incorporated on the sides, which this colorway a sweet looking one. The Nike logo was prominently visible on the sides of all 4 pairs. Double stitching lines on the upper’s surface ensured added durability and style. The outer sole on each colorway matched the upper’s hue. The special feature of this shoe was its color scheme. Combined with the patent leather, it provided a very stylish and unique glossy outlook.
Many sneakerheads must have copped a pair of the Air Jordan 1 “Reverse Shattered Backboard,” considering that it just arrived at retailers on October 8th. It was certainly a memorable iteration, but an even more iconic and original rendition of the Air Jordan 1 is scheduled to make its comeback next month, as per Jordan Brand’s confirmation. The “Black Toe” colorway of the model, dressed up in a combination of Black, Red and White, will be among November 2016’s Jordan releases. Of course, it gets its nickname from the Black-colored overlays around its toe boxes. Its return is scheduled to take place on November 5th, but its price had not been revealed yet.
