Air Jordan 1 “Art Basel” Release Date.Sneakerheads may or may not have realized it, but the Air Jordan 1 “Igloo” and the Air Jordan 1 NRG “Rust Pink” are a part of a collection that has been dubbed the “Art Basel” Pack. Jordan Brand and Social Status teamed up for the launch of this pack via a pop-up installation that they set up in Miami Beach. This pack was inspired by and designed for the special Art Basel 2017 event that recently took place between December 7th and 10th, 2017 in Miami Beach. However, the Air Jordan 1 “Art Basel” Pack did not end up retailing at the intended pop-up location due to unforeseen circumstances.
In case sneakerheads have not realized it yet, the “Igloo” and “Rust Pink” colorways from this Air Jordan 1 “Art Basel” Pack drew inspiration from all the art deco buildings in Miami Beach district. After all, Miami Beach has an entire Art Deco Historic District. Hence, both of these sneakers were dressed up 80s, art deco inspired pastel colors, specifically Blue and Pink. Since the Air Jordan 1 “Art Basel” Pack was supposed to retail exclusively at a secret pop-up store, the sneakers were produced in limited quantities in men’s sizes 8 to 14. They were supposed to retail at a price of $160 each.
The Air Jordan 1 “Art Basel” Pack was scheduled to make its exclusive retail debut on December 8, between 12 PM and 7 PM EST. Social Status revealed the exact location of the pop-up installation via their official Instagram account. It was revealed to be at the The Mondrian Hotel on 1100 West Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida. Unfortunately, sneakerheads stormed at the location as soon as it was revealed and the pop-up installation at 1100 West Avenue ended up getting shut down by the police. Quite unexpectedly, the retail location for the Air Jordan 1 “Art Basel” Pack was relocated to 888 MacArthur Causeway, that too on a yacht.
Sneakerheads may or may not know, but the Air Jordan 17 Low “Lightning” is one of the best Air Jordan colorways to have been worn in an NBA All-Star Game. Along with the athleticism and all the famous players performing at the same time, one of the great things about NBA’s annual All-Star Weekend is the kicks that are spotted on the court. It was Michael Jordan who rocked the Air Jordan 17 Low “Lightning” during the 2002 NBA All-Star Game and Jordan Brand released the sneaker in the summer of that year. Now, a special, collaborative variation of the Air Jordan 17 Low “Lightning” will arrive next year.
SoleFly x Air Jordan 17 Low “Lightning”
Release Date: February 2018

Some of the highlights of the 2002 NBA All-Star Game included the self pass that Tracy McGrady made off a backboard dunk. By the end of the game, Kobe Bryant had scored 31 points and 5 assists, which was quite an impressive performance. However, sneaker enthusiasts would have likely had their eyes often glued onto the Air Jordan 17 Low “Lightning” that Michael Jordan was wearing. After all, the colorway was rather eye catching, with its striking Black and White color scheme, combined bright Lightning Yellow-colored detailing and the addition of some Chrome too. Of course, the variation set to join next year’s Jordan releases 2018 looks different. The Air Jordan 17 Low “Lightning” debuted 15 years ago and while it is not exactly making a comeback, its “Alternate” version is equally good. Reportedly, this SoleFly x Air Jordan 17 Low “Lightning” will be joining February’s Jordan releases 2018 next year, but its retail price has not been revealed yet.
ordan Brand designed this latest version of the Air Jordan 17 Low “Lightning” in collaboration with SoleFly and it is being referred to as an “Alternate” variation of the original. This time, the colorway really lives up to its nickname because the Lightning Yellow hue actually covers a majority of its leather uppers. The rest of the sneaker is mostly covered in Black, with Metallic Silver also making an appearance over the Chrome plate and the lace eyelets. Some of the Black-overlays even appear to be featuring a reptilian texture, making this sneaker look all the more luxurious.
Air Jordan 11 Low “Emerald” Release Date,In the recent years, there have been quite a few Emerald-colored and -themed Air Jordan sneakers that have been dropped, or simply unveiled by Jordan Brand. For instance, sneakerheads may recall the extremely rare Air Jordan 6 “Emerald City” that rapper Macklemore had unveiled on his Instagram account. This exclusive, special colorway was drew inspiration from Macklemore’s home state of Seattle and was designed with input from the rapper. Of course, the sneaker never really arrived at retailers, but it seems that Jordan Brand has whipped up an “Emerald” colorway of the Air Jordan 11 Low that will be among next year’s Air Jordan releases 2018 for Easter.
Air Jordan 11 Low “Emerald”
Release Date: April 1st, 2018
If the Air Jordan 11 Low “Emerald” has indeed been designed for Easter, then it will likely end up joining April’s Air Jordan releases 2018 next year. It is being expected and reported that this sneaker will end up retailing at a price of $175.
Emerald also happens to be the birthstone of Chris Paul, so it was not surprising that he rocked an Emerald-inspired colorway of the Air Jordan 11 on the final day of Nike Basketball’s The Academy event that year. The uppers of this 1-of-1 pair were dressed up completely in a teal hue, but it was Chris Paul himself who dubbed the colorway “Emerald,” a reference to his birthstone. It also made it obvious that the sneaker had been exclusively designed for him. It was also equipped with plain White-colored midsoles, while same Teal hue as the uppers also covered the model’s signature translucent outsoles.
Both @pinoe77 and @zsneakerheadz shared the same photo of the Air Jordan 11 Low “Emerald,” which is accompanying this post. Also being referred to as the “Easter,” “Emerald Green,” “Emerald Easter” and “Emerald Rise,” most reports re suggesting that this colorway has indeed been designed for Easter next year. The sneaker appears to be featuring clean, plain White-colored uppers with Black-colored branding and inner lining. The highlight of this colorway, the one it gets its nickname from, is definitely its patent leather mudguards that are covered in an iridescent Emerald Green hue. The sneaker is also equipped with White-colored midsoles and icy, translucent outsoles.
Air Jordan 10 “Cool Grey” Release Date,November 12 was Russell Westbrook’s birthday, but on the night of his birthday, he had joined the rest of the Oklahoma City Thunder in a game against the Dallas Mavericks. In celebration of his birthday though, Russell Westbrook had laced up in a very special Air Jordan 10 pair for the first half of the game. The pair he rocked was the special Air Jordan 10 iteration from the “MVP” Pack Jordan Brand had given to him as gift earlier this summer. Although not from that pack, nor as vibrant, the Air Jordan 10 featured here is apparently scheduled to join next year’s initial Jordan releases 2018.
Air Jordan 10 “Cool Grey”
Release Date: January 2018
310805-022 | $190
Earlier in November, sneakerheads may have also read about the highly rumored possibility that the Air Jordan 10 “Shadow” might be making a comeback in 2018. That is actually more than just a rumor because is the sneaker is indeed returning next year. Originally, the Air Jordan 10 “Shadow” had arrived at retailers ten years ago, back in 2008 as a part of that year’s “Countdown” Pack that also included the Air Jordan 13 “He Got Game.” Despite a lack of photos of the actual sneaker, the 2018 version of the Air Jordan 10 “Shadow” will likely be dressed up in a combination of Black, Dark Shadow and True Red.
The Air Jordan 10 colorway featured here, dubbed “Cool Grey,” is not as colorful as the other two referred to above, but that does not change the fact that it still looks dope and is arriving next year. Its uppers are made up of leather and nubuck, both of which are dressed up in the same Cool Grey hue that also covers its inner lining, laces, midsoles and tongues. On the surface, this iteration may look quite dull, monochromatic and tonal, but the outsoles appear to be sporting a multicolor theme underneath, with almost all hues of the rainbow visible down there.
The Air Jordan 10 “Shadow” has already been confirmed to be returning next year on April 2nd, 2018 and it will retail at a price of $190. The Air Jordan 10 “Cool Grey” featured here will also retail at the same price, but it will apparently be among January’s Jordan releases 2018.
adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V3 Release Date,It seems unlikely that Nike will be dethroned in the world of sneakers. Nike’s footwear division generated worldwide revenue of approximately $20 billion back in 2016. adidas was and still is the second largest athletic footwear company in the world, but back in 2016, it had generated slightly more than half of Nike’s revenue that year. In 2017 though, adidas managed to surpass Nike’s Jordan Brand, becoming the second largest athletic footwear seller in the United States. The adidas Yeezy line has actively contributed in the brand’s rise in popularity. With 2017 nearing its end, it seems that adidas is ready to upgrade the Yeezy Boost 350 for next year.
The photo accompanying this post at the very top was shared on Instagram by Sneaker Info. (@pinoe77). It is obvious that the photo showcases the adidas Yeezy Boost 350, but avid sneakerheads may notice that its appearance and design seems to be different. In particular, the font appears to be different and the “SPLY-350” branding, while still featured on each shoe over its Primeknit upper’s lateral side, now seems to be slanting downwards. Moreover, the “SPLY-350” branding is no longer inverted. The Primeknit uppers appear to be sporting the same pattern, although it is hard to tell for now.
The fact that adidas has surpassed Jordan Brand is quite an impressive achievement for the brand. The adidas Yeezy line is one of the reasons the brand is so dominant in the sneaker scene. Last month, i.e. late in October 2017, it was officially revealed that the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Beluga 2.0” would make its debut on November 25th, 2017 and would retail at a price of $220. By the end of October, another colorway of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 was unveiled, which has been dubbed “Semi Frozen Yellow.” It will retail at a price of $220 on November 18, 2017.Maybe this is merely a sample and adidas might actually further upgrade the Yeezy Boost 350 before dropping its latest rendition, which may end up being the Yeezy Boost 350 V3. Whatever the case, this sneaker will not debut until 2018.
