No doubt about it; the new Air Jordan 12 GS is definitely for girls. With its pink color and girly design, female fans of Air Jordan sneakers would find this pair something to look forward to with the upcoming Jordan releases for 2016.
It appears that this year, sneaker fans will be seeing more of Air Jordan 12 in heavy rotation. That is, there are several AJ12s slated for release but only now has a GS been decided for dropping. Also known as the Dynamic Pink’ Air Jordan, the pair would make up for a perfect, albeit late, Valentine gift. The Air Jordan 12 GS will have its official release date on March and will be available on selected Jordan Brand stores worldwide at a price of $140.
Dubbed as a Valentine’s Day’ edition of the Air Jordan 12s, we got to see this pink and white Jordan sneaker first after Sneaker News provided a very good look of the shoes hinting of designs done in chrome and metallic silver. There’s also the unique branding on the heel and instead of following tradition for all Jordan Brand shoes, this one seems to be making its own. This is because the GS edition of the AJ12 comes in midform; which is a cross from.
At a closer look, the Air Jordan 12 GS Dynamic Pink lives up to its name of using the same color on its outsole, shoe liners, overlays, and the Jumpman logo. The leather upper, the laces, and the shoes’ tongue are all done in white which evens out the contrasting between the cool pink and the clean white of the shoes.
The white tumbled leather upper of the Air Jordan 12 GS is made to stand out against pink detailing of sole, the side panels, the outsole, the inner liner, and some other highlights throughout the shoes. On a closer inspection, you might find your eye drifting off to the metallic silver eyelet placed on top. There’s also the fact that while pink and white dominate the color palette, there’s a hint of a silver accent found on the sides with the outsole sporting black peekings.
The pink Jumpman logo on the tongue is also completed with a white one tastefully placed on the toes of the shoes. Right on the back is another Jumpman logo which would pass as “cute” given its small size on the heel tab, the word JORDAN running the length of the heel and MJ’s signature number of 23 underneath it. In front, underneath the Jumpman logo on the tongue are the words “Two 3” and you might find it interesting to know that the metallic eyelets are in fact sporting the Jumpman.
The shoes won’t be releasing with its original release date on February and will dropped instead on March 5.
