Where to buy Air Jordan 12 “Gold Wings”,Hopefully, many of the Jordanheads reading this managed to cop one of the 12,000 pairs of the Air Jordan 12 “Wings” inspired by Michael Jordan’s iconic “Wings” poster. While they are fortunate enough to now have a pair as a part of their sneaker collection, apparently those who now own a certain numbered pair from the series might just be even luckier. For instance, the #23 Air Jordan 12 “Wings” pair can be regarded as more valuable than some random pair out of the 12,000. Similarly, it seems that the last and final 12,000th pair of the Air Jordan 12 “Wings” holds more value than the others.

This is not just an assumption because the 12,000th Air Jordan 12 “Wings” pair was sold and the pair has wound up on eBay where it is being auctioned for a whopping $4,500. Apparently, the inner tongue even features “12,000/12,000” in white. However, even with such outrageous prices, it can be expected that Jordanheads who ended up missing out will be seeking out Air Jordan 12 “Wings” pairs that had sold out on the resale market. As for those who already own a pair now, they now have another reason take pride in this new installment to their sneaker collection.

After the retail debut of 12,000 pairs of the Air Jordan 12 “Wings,” Jordan Brand’s “WINGS Initiative” has also been re-launched. The reason that Jordanheads, who did manage to grab a pair, will be pleased is because the money they spent will be utilized for charitable purposes. Much like before, the focus of the “WINGS” program is still fixed upon educating and liberating the youth from all over the globe. In fact, all of the funds that Jordan Brand raised from selling the 12,000 Air Jordan 12 “Wings” pairs will go toward such charitable contributions.

The bidding for the 12,000th pair of the Air Jordan 12 “Wings” is still apparently still ongoing, but at least some Jordanheads might not be too eager to spend over $4,500. Nonetheless, those who already paid the official retail price for the pair can now consider themselves charitable.

To build up the excitement for the model, it seems as though Air Jordan decided to show only one side of the kicks, therefore making it hard to see what’s on the tongue and the heel portion. Following tradition, however, it is a good bet that a logo of Air Jordan or Nike would be placed on the tongue and the heel.

Apart from the fact that Macklemore is not affiliated with this sneaker in any way, rumor has it that Jordan Brand has only produced 12,000 pairs, which makes it kind of a limited release. While Jordan Brand has yet to announce a release date, the Air Jordan 12 “Wings” will apparently hit the shelves somewhere in autumn (fall) in this year.Based on these photos, the Air Jordan 12 “Wings” appears to be dressed up in the classic “Playoff” color scheme, although some changes seem to have been made here and there. The entirely black upper is clearly made up of premium leather while the midfoot tabs are visibly feature a metallic gold construction with “WINGS,” the nickname of the sneaker, inscribed into them. While it is not visible, its heel will also feature the “Wings” branding from a classic poster featuring Michael Jordan.
